PHOEBE JON - OCTOBER 2025
In celebration of Phoebe Jon’s 1 year anniversary, the store owner threw a small party at their shop in Brooklyn and hired Grace is embroider a selection of designs live at the event. After purchasing an item, the customer could bring their garment to Grace and select an embroidery from the pre-determined menu, including initials/lettering in 4 different fonts, and 3 small NYC-themed icons that Grace designed.
DS & Durga - may 9th & 11th, 2024
At these Mother’s day events, DS & Durga offered free embroidered tote bags with any purchase. Grace provided a custom menu of embroidery designs that the customer could chose from, and embroidered the tote bags live at the event. At the event on 5/9, she did her embroidery by hand, and at 5/11 she used her embroidery machine due to the higher foot traffic.
pink chicken - November 2022
This event was an ongoing project leading up to Christmas. Pink Chicken offered personalized chainstitch embroidery with every stocking purchase in their West Village store. The stockings were then mailed to Grace’s home in Brooklyn; she embroidered the names, sent them back to the store, and then the customers picked up their stockings a week after purchase.
Cotopaxi - September 2022
Cotopaxi was one of the featured brands at this Amazon climate pledge event. They hired Grace to sew patches onto the fanny pack bags being given away. Grace sourced vintage, sustainably made patches, and let the guests choose their own designs and arrangement.
