D.S. & Durga Embroidery Events

Grace was hired for 2 different Mother’s Day events by high end fragrance company D.S. & Durga. At each of these events, the customer was offered a free embroidered tote bag of their choice with any purchase during the designated time window. Grace created a custom menu of designs for the customer to choose from, based off of the unique graphics found on D.S. & Durga’s candles. The first of these events took place at Bergdorf Goodman, where Grace embroidered the tote bags by hand. For the second event, Grace was hired to use her embroidery machine, which they helped her set up at the front of the store to help bring in customers for the event. See photos below.

Cotopaxi Event
September 2022
Cotopaxi was one of the featured brands at this Amazon climate pledge event. They hired Grace to sew patches onto the fanny pack bags being given away. Grace sourced vintage, sustainably made patches, and also used the patches provided to her by Cotopaxi and Amazon. She helped the guests choose their own designs and arrangement, and then sewed the patches on live at the event.
